Gairidhara, August 25, 2024 – The Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) held its 19th Annual General Meeting on August 25, 2024, at the Ministry Bar and Cafe in Gairidhara. The event featured a review of the association’s progress and financial performance, alongside the election of a new Central Executive Board (CEB).
The newly elected board members, who will lead the NNMGA through August 2027, are:
- President: Tul Singh Gurung
- Vice President: Lakpa Sherpa
- General Secretary: Pimba Tenjing Lama
- Secretary: Hareram Khadka
- Treasurer: Abiral Rai
- CEB Members: Vinayak Jaya Malla, Pasang Kidar Sherpa, Tendi Sherpa, and Pemba Rita Sherpa
The election process was conducted with transparency and adherence to NNMGA’s democratic practices. Former NNMGA President Ang Norbu Sherpa offered his congratulations to the new board and committed his ongoing support to their efforts.
